The Reading Bingo Challenge 2014

I recently came across The Reading Bingo Challenge 2014 from Retreat by Random House.  Below is their printable bingo card, and if you click on the link in the first sentence you can check out their YA reading bingo card.

So, shall we play?  And/or should we try to create a card of our own?

I can fill a few squares on this already.  And maybe, I should set a personal rule for not using the same book more than once. Y/N?

So far, let’s see, I have:

A Book with Non-Human Characters: Mikhail Bulgakov‘s The Master and Margarita

A Book of Short Stories: Mikhail Bulgakov again with Diaboliad and Other Stories

A Book Your Friend Loves: Well, the friend is you, Bear, and the book is obviously Eduardo Galeano‘s Children of the Days

A Book You Heard About Online: Gwyneth LewisSparrow Tree

A Book of Non-Fiction: Lawrence Weschler‘s Mr Wilson’s Cabinet of Wonder

A Book Written by Someone Under 30:  Andre Gide‘s Urien’s Voyage

A Book That is More Than 10 Years Old:  Speaking of Śiva translated by A K Ramanujan–but that’s only if rereading counts. Should it count?  Hmm, to make this easier or not?  Decisions, decisions.

Children of the Days and Sparrow Tree have blue covers too. Ah well.

I think it would be fun to come up with a bingo card too.
